The global CEO of Batz Spain, accompanied by colleagues from China technology and procurement, visited Sunway Polymer on 9th, Nov. 2023. They had a laboratory tour and LFT line tour and expressed a deep impression on our company's laboratory and advanced LFT pultrusion lines. They were satisfied with the clean and tidy workshop. Batz is Sunway’s long-term strategic partner, and we will continue with win-win cooperation in the future.

To welcome fresh colleagues in sales department and engineering department, Sunway held a team building in 21st, Oct. . We have enhanced understanding between fresh and old colleagues, as well as colleagues in the sales and engineering departments through the team building.

Sunway Polymer participated 28th FAKUMA international plastics exhibition in Friedrichshafen, Germany, during 17th, Oct. to 21st, Oct. This is the 1st time for Sunway to participate oversea’s plastics exhibition.

Sunway successfully participated Shanghai global composite exhibition during 12th-14th, Sept., 2023.

Sunway’s 603KW photovoltaic grid was successfully connected on 16th, Aug.! This marks the progress of Sunway in utilizing solar energy to generate green power, contributing to clean energy, green production, and dual carbon goals.

Sunway participated in "Entering Chery-Lightweight New Materials Tour" in Wuhu on 1st, April, 2023. During the activity, Sunway and the engineers of Chery material engineers discussed lightweight materials, especially LFT materials and proposed of lightweight solutions. The engineers of Chery are very interested in our LFT materials and hope to cooperate with new projects in the future.

To achieve the 2 carbon goal, Suzhou Sunway Polymer uses green energy, wind power, as the part of its production and manufacturing energy. The utilization of wind energy will reach to 10% of the total electricity consumption in 2023 and is expected to increase to 30% by 2025.

In order to remove the algae from the Tai Lake to make it clean, Ren Jun, the general manager, participated in the Tai Lake fish culture activity on March 11.

Sunway’s R&D and testing team was invited to hold a technical seminar in ExxonMobil Shanghai technical center on 7th, March. We had a R&D lab tour firstly, then held a technical seminar. We discussed the issues in ExxonMobil’s material application and testing. Sunway’s team gained more via technical seminar with ExxonMobil team.

Sunway organized RTI training on 8th, Dec., which is provided by UL safety laboratory. RTI is the relative temperature index of polymer materials. It is a long-term (6000-20000 hours) operating temperature test conducted by UL on materials. Colleagues from QC, R&D, center lab and sales department actively participated the training. We have a preliminary understanding on RTI testing through training.
